Complete skateboards

Complete skateboards consist of all the separate components necessary for safe and effective skateboarding. These components include the skate deck, which is the wood surface a skateboarder rides on, the trucks and bearings that are used to attach the wheels to the deck, the skate wheels and the grip tape that is adhered to the top of the board for traction.

Complete skateboards are often less expensive that purchasing all of these separate components and having skate professionals assemble in-store, or doing it at home. Complete boards also tend to utilize all the components of a single manufacturer or brand or brands that partner to create complete boards for skaters.

Online retailers carry a wide variety of complete skateboarders for all types of riders. Generally beginning skateboards purchase a complete or generic deck to practice on and learn the basics. This makes sure that all the components are properly fit and complement each other.
